The Perfect Road Sandwich
Ok, so this is just a bit of fun but whenever we go on a walk we always have what we call a “road sandwich” and I would like to share that recipe with you. Normally our walks are pretty long and everyone knows that exercise makes you hungry so you have to fill your bag with water, yummy snacks and of course the perfect road sandwich!

Ingredients
- 4 Slices of bread, we use wholegrain
- 4 – 6 slices of cheddar
- 1 large tomatoe
- 12 slices of cucumber
- 2 slices of ham
- Lettuce
- Butter
- Mayonaise
- Tinfoil
Instructions
- Butter your bread and add mayonnaise if you like
- Slice your cheddar cheese and add that to two slices of buttered bread
- Add a slice of ham to each
- Distribute your cucumber slices equally
- Slice up your tomato and distribute it evenly between the two slices of bread
- Top with washed lettuce
- Add the other slice of bread to the top
- Cut the sandwiches in half
- Wrap them in tinfoil
- Pack your road sandwich in your backpack and you’re ready to go!
